Joseph Raniere, M.D., originally from the Jersey Shore, earned his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School in 1993, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in recognition of his academic excellence.
After graduating in the top 10 percent of his medical school class, Dr. Raniere went on to complete five years of General Surgery training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, a Harvard University–affiliated hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and maintains active membership in both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He further advanced his expertise with two years of specialized plastic surgery training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, widely regarded as the nation’s top plastic surgery training program.
Dr. Raniere holds privileges at multiple hospitals, serving as chief of plastic surgery at Piedmont Fayette Hospital for more than 20 years, and is also on staff at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, Southern Regional Medical Center, Piedmont Henry Hospital, and West Georgia Medical Center.
Dr. Raniere is dedicated to delivering the highest level of personalized care, tailoring every treatment to the unique needs and goals of his patients. He explains his philosophy simply: “My personal practice philosophy is to give my patients my undivided attention, listen to their specific needs and goals, and then perform surgically to the best of my ability to achieve a natural result.”
Outside of his practice, Dr. Raniere resides in Peachtree City with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys music, fishing, and boating, and on weekends can often be found playing guitar with his local band, Gravity.

Very satisfied with my results!
I had a consult for facial procedures and possible tummy tuck. Despite my flawless medical history, he was hyper focused on my notation of vaping just occasionally and at the lowest dose (which I could easily stop before any surgery). Based on how he spoke to me and his unfriendly demeanor, it was clear he labeled me a nicotine junkie. When I told him I suffered from a terminal illness and how I only wanted to look better the last couple of years of my life, he had zero bedside manner and he even insisted that I not have any procedures and to focus on my main medical issue. I told him I had been doing that for four years. He was speaking as though he knew me more intimately than he did because he started directing my decision away from using cosmetic and aesthetic procedures to boost my low self-esteem. I started crying and saw he had no interest in listening to me and I left before the appointment was over.
I went for a consult again . He is amazing to talk too. He answered all my questions and explained the procedure step by step. Very kind and has tons of patience.l was never rushed during my time there. Definitely recommend!!

Dr. Raniere is a fabulous physician. He did a great job on my breast reduction. I am extremely happy with the outcomes and was blown away by my before and after photos. I would recommend him to all my family and friends who need plastic surgery done!
