Dr O'Brien is the consummate professional mixed with a great dose of bed side manner, which in this world of medical technology is too often overlooked or not valued. He answered all our questions with compassion and understanding. He asked us for our questions before we even thought of one. Even the lady I spoke with on the phone, who went out of her way to get us a timely & convenient appointment reassured me he was the best. She referred several family members to
Dr O' Brien and they were all extremely pleased as well.
We feel very lucky to have Dr. O'Brien as our surgeon! 🍀🍀🏆🥇

Surgery and recovery went excellently. Pleased with outcome and being a patient of Dr. O’Brien

Dr. O’Brien offered non-invasive and conservative approaches to alleviate the pain/discomfort I was experiencing in my lower lumbar region. When those did not give me relief, he performed surgery on a complicated herniation. I am now six-week post-op and feel wonderful. Dr. O’Brien is an excellent surgeon and has a great bedside manner as well. He operates out of Virginia Hospital Center, which was top-notch in every possible way. I have already begun to recommend him to friends with back issues.

Third appointment where I had to wait over an hour to see the dr. Ended up seeing the nurse instead.
