Dr. Purcell though he says he’s in the 60s now looks like he’s in the early 40s. He’s been our doctors for over 25 years. He has given us the best care especially with pain. I have seen, I believe every other doctor in the practice, but this was my first time seeing Dr. Purcell and it was a truly lovely experience. I felt like my concerns were heard and taken seriously. He had great recommendations, and we formed a plan to go forward with that gives me confidence he wants to work with me to find a solution for what's currently going on. He was also very easy to talk to, kind, and everything you would hope for in the doctor you are trusting your health with

Dr. Purcell Dr Joseph Purcell is the best he is our Dr. my husband John J Adams and Mary M Adams for 25 years now the best the best the best praise God for Dr. Purcell. I broke a rib. I’m in terrible pain for weeks and he’s been taking care of me he is the best God bless him. May he live for a long time and be a good doctor Mary Adams I do like the picture you’re using of him. Dr. Joseph W. Purcell, D.O., is a board-certified physician specializing in Family Practice.
He earned three Bachelor of Science Degrees in Biology, Natural Sciences, and Mathematics from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in May 1981. He then graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, in June 1986, where he served as the Student-Faculty Liaison.
Dr. Purcell completed his internship at Chicago Osteopathic Medical Center in 1987 and his residency in family practice at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, in 1989.
He is board-certified in Family Practice through the American Board of Family Practice. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and received the American Medical Association Physicians Recognition Award in 1999. Dr. Purcell was also voted one of the “Best Doctors” by Better Living Magazine for 2003-2004.
