Joseph Prohaska, DO

Dr. Joseph Prohaska, D.O., attended Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL, and completed his Dermatology Residency at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC. Dr. Prohaska joined HealthStar Physicians, PC, a multi-specialty provider group of 100+ providers in the Lakeway Area, in 2019. His clinical interests include medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Prohaska is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and American Board of Osteopathic Dermatology and he is a member of the American Society of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. In addition to caring for adult and pediatric patients at HealthStar Dermatology in Morristown, Tennessee, Dr. Prohaska enjoys the outdoors (with sunscreen), gardening, camping, and hiking. He and his wife Meghan, an ultramarathon runner who runs races of 100 miles, are active in Arrowhead Church and have two dogs, Dusty and Ryder. Dr. Prohaska is a Chicago Bears fan and also roots for the Vols (though he will tell you that some members of the office have attempted to convert him to support Kentucky). His other areas of interest include board games, personal finance, and real estate.
