Joseph P. Mazza, MD, FACC

Dr. Joseph Mazza specializes in Clinical, Invasive, Non-Invasive, and Preventive Cardiology. He has Subspecialty training in Nuclear Cardiology. He performs non-invasive testing, including stress testing and echocardiogram services in both office and hospital settings, while performing invasive cardiac catheterization at The Miriam Hospital and Landmark Medical Center.

Dr. Mazza completed his undergraduate degree at Providence College in Rhode Island and then trained at George Washington School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Roger Williams Hospital / Brown University and then served as a Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Brown University's combined Program in Cardiovascular Disease. He is currently the Divisional Director of Cardiology at Roger Williams Hospital and was formerly co-director of the cardiac catheterization lab at Roger Williams Hospital. In addition, Dr Mazza is a Fellow of The American College of Cardiology and a member of the Rhode Island Medical Society. He is a recipient of the ﾓTeaching Attending of the Yearﾔ at Roger Williams Medical Center. In addition, he was awarded "Top Doctor" by Rhode Island Monthly magazine in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.
