I enjoy my visits to Doc McC., but today's hour wait hurt a bit. Wouldn't have been as bad if the room hadn't been so chilly. Ever think of keeping a few soft throws somewhere so a body could use one while waiting?

Dr was great But the check in person was terrible I waited for her to check me in for 25 min finally I asked her why she waited o was the only one in the waiting Rome that was a really Bad thing

Incredible walk-in acute care with Dr. McCormick. I was seen within 30 minutes, up to OT for a custom splint within 60 minutes and out the door within 2 hours total time from when I arrived. I am so thankful!

I went in for a 2 month follow up after shoulder surgery and had serious concerns about a new pain that is preventing me from completing my therapy exercises. I felt like Dr. McCormick was not listening to my concerns. He kept saying that I am too young to be experiencing a larger problem, and implied that I’m just not “pushing through the pain” and that I’m just not working hard enough. I went through 56 hours of labor without pain medication. I know how to push through the pain and had been working very hard at my therapy until this new issue came up. There is something else going on here and he was unwilling to listen. I have serious concerns about whether I’m receiving quality care and feel like the doctor’s unwillingness to really listen (or even examine the shoulder to see how the pain is presenting) is preventing me from receiving the care that I need. If I had to guess, I would bet that he wouldn’t even be able to describe where my pain is or when and how it’s presenting.

Dr. McCormick replaced my knees in 2006 and 2007. He guided me through pre-operation and through recovery. He encouraged PT and those compression socks - both helped me get back to a healthy state! Now I will trust him to replace my hip.

I felt rushed,you all thought I was there for my right shoulder when I was there for my right knee.My MRI was either misread or something,Dr. kept referring to median meniscus, when it was the lateral meniscus. I am having a hard time putting pressure on my knee when I walk,Dr Joe gave me a brace and sent me back to work with no restrictions, I am a housekeeper at the hospital in Chilton on my feet all day,squatting, bending,etc... how is the swelling and fluid build up supposed to go down if I am standing all day?

Excellent surgeon but more importantly just a down right nice guy!

Above average personality/bedside manner.

Dr. McCormick did a great job and always had a smile, was kind and respectful. He never seemed rushed and answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend him as a wonderful orthopedic surgeon!

Dr. McCormick is very knowledgeable and confident, I always feel comfortable in his care. He has fixed any ailment I have had and there's been quite a few.

In the 4 MINUTES (not an exaggeration) Dr. McCormick was in the room with me he felt around on my hand for 1 minute, asking about thumb pain even though my reason for visit was not about my thumb it was about my already confirmed diagnosis, carpal tunnel, symptoms worsening & keeping me up at night despite the wrist split & exercises I do. He then states I need to get another EMG and tells me a nurse will be back to schedule said EMG & walked out of the room. The nurse comes in to tell me they'll be in touch with me about scheduling an EMG...which I can only assume will be at the very least 2 weeks out. He never said Good bye, hang in there, we will get this figured out as soon as we can, a cortosone shot in your wrist to get you through (like I had last year with Dr. Olson), nothing. I was also told to come 30 minutes prior to my appointment for XRAYS...I did not get XRAYS done at all. When I asked about the xrays the nurse was at a loss for explanation. Beyond frustrated!

All turned out just as he said it would.

We were very pleased that my husband could see Dr McCormick on short notice.

So far the service is great my Surgery is in a few weeks. All the Nurses and schedulers have been great.

Dr. McCormick took his time explaining my options and even referred me to a non-surgical option!

Had my bandage come off today from my total knee. Incision looks clean and straight and to my surprise no stiches or staples to be removed . It has been a very positive experience.

I had no problems and Dr McCormick. He was caring and knowledgeable. Two necessities when your having major surgery.

Too busy though to take time to get to know his patients. It's like an assembly line. Too bad for patients who need a little extra TLC.

Dr. McCormick was super nice and made me feel listened to. I've been to quite a few knee doctors and most said they can't help me due to being so young (I've already done a ton of PT). He suggested something no other doctor thought of and required no artificial parts. I can't wait to finally get some pain relief!

Dr McCormick made us feel like we shouldn't be there and were wasting his time. We were referred from our primary doctor but it was as if he had no idea why we were there. He was intimidated to my son and that made him shut down and not want to talk. I am not sure if we where the miscommunication occurred but it really was a very unhelpful visit and we were given no answers again. We will follow back with our primary to let hjim know.
