I can’t say enough about expertise of Dr. Mando. I have had mono vision for years and after cataract surgery, my right eye was not corrected to 20/20. I was told it was because I had Lasik done on that eye. Also, my astigmatism required a Toric contact lens for distance vision in my right eye. The Toric lens would spin and still didn’t correct my distance vision to 20/20. Dr. Mando inserted a “piggyback” Light Adjusting Lens on my replaced lens. He skillfully adjusted the Light Adjusting Lens to give me perfect mono vision at 20/15. This was the correction I received 30+ years ago when I had Lasik surgery on my right eye. All my interaction with Dr. Mando and his staff was positive and respectful. Eyesight is so precious that I needed to trust and have confidence in this life altering procedure. I heard about Dr. Mando through two of his patients. One of them was my husband who is glasses free for the first time in over 40 years. I can’t believe the improvement to my quality of life.

Excellent bedside maner.
He is professional as the staff and makes you feel comfortable from the beginning.

Excellent in his medical practice, adept in his communication to this patient, and friendly in his manner — enough so that I have scheduled to have cornea transplant surgery on my other eye with Dr. Mando.

Dr Mando did an excellent job on my lense transplants. His ”bedside manner” was much better this visit. He slowed down a little and gave me time to formulate my questions, and took time to translate the answers in to lay terms.

I was impressed with the staff in his office and I felt comfortable when I met Dr Mando. He was very clear about how to fix my eyes and all my options for
Improved vision.
When my surgery day arrived, I was treated like royalty. Most of his staff were registered nurses and everyone knew their job, taking additional information, medicating my eye with drops, starting the IV saline lock where the meds would be given for conscious sedation for the cataract removal.. it was like a symphony.
It was over before I knew it and I was escorted by staff at discharged.
The next day for my follow-up appointment and we tested my new vision with eye charts.
Already I could see clearly.
Dr Mando examined my eye and he was kind, professional yet friendly.
As a retired RN,I worked with many interns, fellows, hospitalists and doctors.
I am aware of a great medical professional and Dr Mando is right up there as being a top notch surgical ophthalmologist. Thank you Dr Mando!
