Dr. Joseph Eason, a native of Alabama, completed medical school at the University of South Alabama in 2008, earning election to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Following his internship in Birmingham, AL, he pursued radiology residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Dr. Eason then returned to Birmingham in 2013 to complete a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Alabama – Birmingham (UAB) followed by a full-time interventional position with UAB.

Very easy to talk with, he listened and answered all of my questions. I was even explained the possible risks that could be involved, but he was very reassuring.
