He is very kind and gentle and explained everything to me before the procedure. I had a broken foot two years ago and he is the only doctor who found that so he was the only doctor I trusted with this issue. Have not been to my follow up yet but he gave me very clear instructions on the care for my foot while I was home the following days and on an upcoming vacation. I would definitely recommend Dr Candela to anyone!!!

So personable and always has a smile on his face. He explained the surgery in detail. I feel completely comfortable with my upcoming surgery in him, performing it.

I waited over an hour past my appointment time to see Dr Candela. It appeared to be a busy day. When Dr Candela did come in, he seemed rushed. He almost immediately jumped to the worst outcome for my condition. Which I might add was inconsistent with the imaging studies I had. There was little time for questions. It was apparent he wanted to move on. Perhaps he is just a very competent physician with a poor bedside manner. The whole experience left me wondering what other clinical options I might have. If scare tactics are a clinical method , they were certainly applied in my experience.
