Dr. Joseph Binfet, M.D., started his education at Indiana University in Bloomington, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He went on to Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Ball Memorial Family Medicine. He came to work for Woodlawn in 2013.
“I am thankful to be associated with an organization that is committed to quality care and dedicated to taking care of our community,” Dr. Binfet said.
When asked why he loves family medicine, he stated, “Fundamentally, I love science, and I love helping others. The practice of medicine serves to bridge this gap nicely. The opportunity to apply the training I have acquired over the years to building respectful, working relationships with patients to inspire and improve health is both an honor and a privilege.”
When he is not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, along with exercising and reading.
