Dr. Bermea took his time to listen to all of the symptoms I was having and asks follow up questions to ensure he understood my issue clearly. He was also on time and very nice.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Bermea. I wanted to get established with him so he knows my history. I found him very attentive and he listened to my concerns. He is following up on tests and other medical procedures from other specialists so it will be on file. All in all I felt the initial visit was not rushed and I had ample time in explaining my history.

Before joining Gonzaba in 2025, Dr. Bermea previously worked at Alamo Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, University Health, and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA). He served as Chief Resident at one of the largest Family Medicine residency programs in the country, at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center-Permian Basin, in Odessa, TX. He specializes in Family Medicine and Hospital Medicine.
