Dr. Bermea is new to me and I was mildly apprehensive about establishing care with another PCP. I was impressed with his warm greeting and smile. Dr. Bermea listened attentively and actually reviewed my chart beforehand.

I am very impressed with Dr. Bermea and the whole staff at Gonzaba Medical Center. I've just began my journey with the center. Dr. Bermea took all the time I needed and answered every concern I have. This also is like one stop shopping! Most of my needs can be addressed at this center. Amazing.

Before joining Gonzaba in 2025, Dr. Bermea previously worked at Alamo Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, University Health, and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA). He served as Chief Resident at one of the largest Family Medicine residency programs in the country, at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center-Permian Basin, in Odessa, TX. He specializes in Family Medicine and Hospital Medicine.
