Dr. Whitehead has always enjoyed helping people and using his hands to fix things. He spent many summers working with his dad in construction. Years later, he found many of the same elements he enjoyed about construction- structure, spatial awareness, fixing- were also incorporated into medicine. He finds the hand to be intricate and fascinating, and he enjoys both the variety of surgery and the precision required in hand and upper extremity surgery.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Whitehead enjoys spending time with his family, especially in the outdoors, and grilling and watching football.
Dr. Whitehead is available to see patients at both our Grandview and Hoover office locations.
