Dr Olson was great. He had excellent technique during my in office procedure and great bed side manner. He worked around my schedule to add my procedure last minute. His two PA’s, Trae and Sayge, helped ease my mind about the procedure and took great care of me. Super impressed with this office!

Dr. Jonathan Olson, D.O. is the newest provider to join Liljenquist & Redd Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Olson, having grown up nearby in Logan, Utah, is looking forward to bringing his family to the beautiful Eastern Idaho. Dr. Olson is a graduate from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and went on to complete his fellowship training at Kettering Health in Hand and Upper Extremity.
Dr. Olson is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing and skiing. The beautiful outdoors of Eastern Idaho attracted him to the area and he looks forward to exploring the region with his wife and children.
In the spring of 2022, Dr. Olson completed a Medical Mission in Honduras. There he was able to treat complex hand cases in both adults and pediatrics. He enjoyed his time serving the underserved population of Honduras. Below you will find some pictures from that experience.
Dr. Olson specializes in hand, wrist, forearm and elbow conditions. Some of the specific conditions he treats are: fractures, arthritis, tendon tears, carpal/cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, nerve damage, mucous/ganglion cysts, & dupuytren’s contracture. Dr. Olson is looking forward to helping you get back to living again!
