He graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Biomedical Sciences before playing professional baseball in the Tampa Bay Rays organization following his undergraduate studies. Upon the end of his professional baseball career, Dr. Koscso returned to USF to complete his medical training at the USF Morsani College of Medicine.
