He enlisted in the Louisiana National guard in 2001 as a medic and served one tour in Iraq during Operation Enduring Freedom. Dr. Gandy has been just wonderful!! He listens and is helping me in so many ways. He is definitely for the patient not the corporate machine! I have had vision issues since 2nd grade. I just don’t remember ever having a more caring doctor!!

Dr. Jonathan Gandy joined Eye Centers in 2020. He was raised in Northwest Louisiana where he graduated from LSU- Shreveport. He enlisted in the Louisiana National guard in 2001 as a medic and served one tour in Iraq during Operation Enduring Freedom. He then went on to receive his optometry training at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where he met is wife. After optometry school he spent six years practicing in Laredo, TX. Dr. Gandy is bilingual, and provides comprehensive management of conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eye and infections. Dr. Gandy is also available for emergency care.
Dr. Gandy enjoys spending time with his wife, two kids and dogs when he is not in clinic. He is also a rabid LSU football fan and loves to cook.
