Dr Ditkoff is great, but his staff had a lot of comments and I heard side conversations about myself which I did not appreciate it. Also while one was in the exam room with me and the DR, all they did was play with their hair. Also they continued to complain and wanted each other to hurry up on people exams so they could leave. If that’s the case, please do not have evening appts. I never experienced this before but I hope it’s the last time.

Wait times between exams is too long

He would not listen and was disrespectful. When I tried to tell him the area of the eye that was bothering me and asked him to look behind the eyelid he told me he was the doctor and knew what he was doing. He spoke very loudly. Staff in the hallway started to look. He sent me to another room for a different test. When he returned he seemed contrite and said he would look at what I requested. He then seemed overly friendly and I ignored what had happened earlier. However, I had come to see if I had an eyelash behind my lid and had a 7:45 (first appointment of the morning) appointment but was there until 9:45! I expected to be out in 20 minutes. He did dilate my eyes, which I was not expecting to ensure other precautions, but the majority of the time was just waiting for his availability.

Staff in the back no very profesional (act and look like they from the hood),and no knowledgeable . Walls in examination rooms dirty and in need of pain .

I am a patient of Dr. Ditkoff for 26 yrs now. Thou I live further now and have to drive 45 minutes without traffic I still would not change him for any opthalmologist by me. He’s a great !!!

Horrible experience. I called the office and requested an appointment with a retina specialist for my husband and explained the issues he was having and told them I wanted to see a Dr. for a second opinion so I made an appointment with Dr. Ditkoff, he looked through all the records from the other specialist we saw and after spending three hours at the office and doing all the tests that Dr. Ditkoff requested he then told us that we needed to see the retina specialist at their office. He never at any point before requesting all the tests told us that he wasn’t a retina specialist. They charged us $492 and didn’t do anything about my husband’s eye issue. I just don’t understand why he didn’t say it from the beginning that he wasn’t a retina specialist since he knew what my husband’s eye issue was. The office could have saved me an unnecessary visit, expense and time if he had said it he wasn’t a specialist for what we needed. He then said that it is normal for all patients

I’ve seen Dr Ditkoff for many years and have been pleased in the past But this last visit recently was not up to his standards. Corona has changed everything. For protection he’s wearing two masks and has a microphone to broadcast his comments. Still I had great difficulty understanding him. Talked very fast. I felt I only understood half of what he was telling me. He was very rushed. I heard from staff that other ophthalmologists are sending him patients. The office was extremely busy and I worried about how well they have people distance. Sorry but I wasn’t pleased. Office was packed with patients.

Dr. Ditkoff came in to the office on his day off after I was hit in the eye by a piece of plastic. I believe my eye would have gotten worse if it wasn't for his quick response. He made me feel relaxed and confident in him. Thank you for taking care of me.

Dr. Ditkoff is amazing, kind and extremely skilled and reassuring. However, his office staff is typically very unfriendly and at times, rude. You have to wait several minutes at the door to get your temperature taken forcing you to stand near many other people and someone from behind the desk has to spot you to get this done. This can take upwards of 5 to 10 minutes, in my experience. They then have you sign in at the desk using a common pen that others have all touched and to do credit card transaction, also with them taking and touching the card. This does not feel safe. They should sign you in online and let you pay online as well prior to your appointment. The chairs in the waiting area are not six feet apart either and this is very uncomfortable. Now they are having people check in person in the office and then wait outside but even then, you may be in the waiting area between temperature and check in 10 to 15 minutes.

Dr. Ditkoff is a very good doctor, but his front office staff is not friendly or helpful.

The doctor was great . His staff amazing! Only issue was LIZ,so rude . She was so rude another staff member ended up helping me and was amazing . I’ve been here for years my family, not the first time I hear LIZ name. She is to say the least not someone u would want to see working customer service . I myself am a frontline essential worker and to be treated that way on the way day off I have was unexceptionable. This is the first bad review written in my life. That should tell u something
