Dr Botts is amazing. I went to him for a second ACL reconstruction on the same knee, 15 yrs apart. At my age (49) this is a tricky surgery. And it wasn’t just the ACL, there were partial tears in the MCL and PCL and all sorts of things to clean up in there (basketball injury). Dr Botts knew exactly what to do with full confidence. I am 9 months out from my surgery and doing my own PT and feeling solid again. It’s a journey and I have to keep strengthening my quad but all in all he really knows what to do and I’m thankful to have found him. Highly recommended!

Very helpful friendly environment

Knowledgeable and thorough. Instead of just reading the radiology report, Dr. Botts actually looked at my MRI images while I was there. Discovered pretty bad bursitis that was not even mentioned in the radiology report. Received steroid injection at that same appointment rather than having to come back on another day. Highly recommend.

Impersonal and not very empathic, not happy and will most likely not return to him. Also, went to Costco for prescription he said he would send and 5 hours later they still had nothing. Called office 3 times and have yet to hear back....

Dr botts is a very pleasant doctor he makes me feel comfortable and safe and he did a good job on my torn meniscus although I had personal complications I think from standing too soon and not keeping off of it I had a big very bad bruised leg for like I don't know a month but he to my personal knowledge is a wonderful doctor Sincerely Mz Deborah Peck

Bed side manner is very unprofessional. He goes in and out did not even explain my Result for my MRI continued to questions and he was a very short. Because I asked for a copy for my physical therapist I knew more from the paper and then what he told me but I didn't understand all the medical terms I wish he would have explained more . Today's visit was not the 1st time I felt this every time I see. It saddens me to now have to look for a new doctor ,because I am already established there .

After seeing seven surgeons regarding chronic hip pain, Dr. Botts got me up and walking like I haven't in years. His precision during surgery has provided me with incredible results, and just two months out, my recovery is going splendidly. I have to have my right hip fixed next, and I will see no one but Dr. Botts.

4th appt in 6 yrs. 1st surgery is upcoming, so assessment is premature. It'd be better, if he shared a little bit more detail. Explained the how, why, what of the problem. Then, what the repair entails (a basic explanation), how long will the repair last, how much pain & recovery to expect, etc... Comparatively, after being pts 15+ yrs with 2 other LA Ortho Drs, & comparing Dr Botts today, with himself 6 yrs ago, he appears much more drained & overworked.

Dr.J.Botts is a great doctor I have been seeing him for serve years and as of today he is still my dr. Dec. 2019.
