Waited in patient room for an hour and then was told my blood work wasn’t ready for Doctor to tell me the results. i had just rather come in for bloodvwork and leave, then if there was a change in it from last trip doctor coild call me to come back in if needed. My wife missed half her therapy treatment because i had to wait too long to see the doctor.

Dr. Jonathan Bender treats patients with all cancer types given his extensive experience in oncology and hematology. He joined Piedmont Cancer Institute in 2001 and currently serves as Medical Director of the Piedmont Fayette Hospital Cancer Center.
Previously, Dr. Bender served as Section Chief of Hematology and Oncology, Chairman of the Cancer Committee, and Chairman of Continuing Medical Education at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Before attending medical school, he served as a volunteer in the US Peace Corps in the Philippines.
Dr. Bender is the recipient of numerous honors and awards. He received the State of Ohio Regents Scholarship for Undergraduate and Medical School. He also received the Wittenberg University Achievement Award in 1991, the Amgen Fellowship Award in 1999, and the Rhone-Poulene Rorer Fellowship Grant in 1999 and 2000. Dr. Bender has numerous publications and abstracts in Hematology and Oncology and is actively involved in clinical research trials.
Dr. Bender has two children and loves cooking for friends and family. Dr. Bender is a devoted Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
