Dr. Jon Dusse joined ECVA early in 2018. Previously, he practiced through Buffalo Medical Group, P.C. and the Wettlaufer Eye Clinic. Dr. Dusse received his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry from Vanderbilt University School of Engineering (Cum Laude), his Master's degree in Biology from Syracuse University Graduate School (Magna Cum Laude) and his Medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, where he completed his residency in Ophthalmology. Dr. Dusse also completed a residency in Ophthalmology at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and a pre-residency fellowship in the Departments of Ophthalmology and Anatomy at Children's Hospital of Buffalo.
He is a member of the Buffalo Ophthalmological Society; Medical Society of the County of Erie; New York Ophthalmological Society; Medical Society of the State of New York; the American Medical Association; Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists; American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery; Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Very knowledgable, explained everything he was doing. I'm very sorry that he is retiring.
Dr. Dusse is very thorough. He takes his time. Speaks in a calm manner. Explained everything regarding my eye care and health. Asked if I had any questions. Took the time to listen and answer in a very reassuring and respectful manner. I would highly recommend him!!

Dr Dusse takes the time to not only explain but to listen! He is not only skilled but thorough in his examinations and testing. As a result he has kept my glaucoma in check. I'm glad I have him as my opthamologist.
