John Woeste, M.D. is a highly experienced, Board-Certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Medicine Specialist with over 30 years of experience in anesthesia care and pain management. Specializing in both acute and chronic pain management, Dr. Woeste holds dual board certifications in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. After completing his medical education at the University of Florida College of Medicine and advanced training in Anesthesiology at Harvard University’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dr. Woeste has honed his expertise in a wide range of anesthesia care, including General, Orthopedic, Obstetrical, Regional, and Bariatric Anesthesia. Dr. Woeste utilizes the latest techniques, including ultrasound-guided procedures. Throughout his career, Dr. Woeste has held key leadership roles, such as the Physician Director for the Beaches Division of Riverside Spine, Jacksonville, where he oversaw the largest pain practice in North Florida. He also served as Chief of Anesthesia Services at Methodist Medical Center and later at Jacksonville Anesthesia Corp, leading teams and managing anesthesia care for complex cases, including major vascular and orthopedic surgeries.
