Dr. John Wallace, MD demonstrated a level of disrespect and unprofessional conduct toward me that I have never experienced from a physician. I am 70 years old and have seen many doctors throughout my life—this encounter was far outside what should be acceptable in any medical setting.
His demeanor was dismissive and lacking in basic respect for a patient. A physician’s role is not limited to clinical knowledge; it also includes professionalism, ethical conduct, and respect for patient dignity. Based on my experience, those standards were not met.
This experience was deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend this provider to anyone expecting respectful, professional care.

Prior to completing his fellowship training at The CORE Institute, Dr. Wallace cared for patients as an anesthesiologist at Valley Anesthesia, Kalamazoo Anesthesiology, and Central Anesthesia Services. Dr. Wallace completed his residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Wallace is a member of the American Board of Anesthesiology.
