I had a 7:00 AM appointment and Dr. Wallace finally came in at 8:00.He said things were hectic-I wasn’t pleased!

I explained to the doctor that I'm in excruciating pain. I wanted to know what else they have besides narcotics because the last pain management wouldn't up my dose. So I started using my medical card. Dr. Wallace said,, " You only want narcotics." I never said that. I said, "what else is there if injections and muscle relaxers don't work? Then he prescribed me a muscle relaxor I've already been on that does nothing.

He explained everything ahead of the procedure, answered my questions. He listens well and has a big caring heart. I am so thankful for him.

Having dealt with chronic pain for years, first due to pinched nerves and back pain, then due to a fractured tibia and a total knee replacement after the tibia repair collapsed, I’ve seen several different doctors over the years. Dr. Wallace genuinely cares about helping his patients control their pain and resume a more active life.

A car accident would be more pleasant than this doctor's bedside manner! He told me to leave a UA but it takes 2wks for results to get back at which time a script will be written. He never explained why it takes so long and why do patients have to wait 2wks for prescriptions? I say patients bc there were a couple of different patients outside the clinic complaining of exactly the same thing I wrote. One patient just had surgery so why are patients made to wait after being spoke to like children???

I have several children who are physicians and Dr Wallace treats me just as my own do. Caring, informative, gentle guidance and makes each visit personal.

And his business was to concentrate on my pain I'm experiencing . Then he prescribed pain prescription. Lastly, he had .e walk heal to ver toe. However, I couldn't maintain my balance.

I get my care at the Estrella location Phoenix AZ. I have been a patient there for about 2 years. Dr. Wallace and his office staff are awesome. I was a little late to my appointment. Thankfully the front desk was helpful. Dr. Wallace was understanding and still saw me. Dr. Wallace took the time to explain everything to me regarding my condition, what my options are, and what can be done for my care in the future. Everyone is respectful, friendly and professional.

Dr. Wallace was courteous, attentive to my chronic pain problems and offered to refer me to a Vascular specialist.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never in my life have experienced his type of treatment. He came in quick did the exam said with a very harsh voice and annoyed I was there “He’s seen worse MRIs than mine” etc I responded “So your telling me I’m dramatic” he responded “Well maybe you are dramatic” I responded I feel like your not hearing me he said “well I listen to people all day complain about their pain” His bedside manner with people that live in pain everyday should not be acceptable whatsoever.

Dr. Wallace is a great listener. He pays attention and address concerns with empathy and suggestions for relief.

I just needed my corticosteroid extended. I suffered the worst pain of my life 2 days after the appointment trying to taper the steroid. The gabapentin prescribed gives no relief. The on call physician recommended urgent care or the ER. In what world does it make sense to send a patient to the ED to get shot up with opioids and wait for scans/surgical consult as an inpatient rather than extend a 3 week course of steroids? 10mg of prednisone or go get admitted. This is madness. And truly, if you're worried about steroid affect on my renal function then order a bmp, if you're worried about my bone density, order a dexa scan. I'm private pay so it's not like you have to worry about reimbursement. I'm just abysmally disappointed.

I immediately felt mental relief when first I spoke with him. Then later that day some physical relief from non opioids meds he proscribed. Injection went well eliminated the pain. This guy is in the right profession. Thankyou.

So unprofessional’ I will, not “ ever never never come back to him again . He talked to me like I was a nobody, on drugs or because of the color of my skin I couldn’t see why, as a professional myself” I wouldn’t dare talk to my customers like that , I would lose them. My first visit with Dr Wallace went very good. He listened to everything I said. A very nice doctor.

I like the way dr. Wallace explain my problem to me and what to do about it! Really happy with his treatments.

I really like Dr Wallace; but in AZ (I moved from GA), the criteria for pain meds from a pain Dr. are excessive. I think we have had a serious problem in US; however, someone who has real issues and does not overuse should be able to get relief.

Today’s visit was a horrible experience. Dr Wallace was extremely frustrated and took out his frustration on us when we were asking questions. He went off on a ram for several minutes about how patients were so concerned about asking questions and not listening to him. When I told him he seemed frustrated he went off on another ram about the long hours he worked and was frustrated with his patients. Dr Wallace lacks empathy and listening to his patients. He also accused us of not following protocol about making a follow up appointment to receive more medication when he never gave us those instructions. When I told him this he asked his receptionist/aid to pull up his notes and he realized those were never the instructions he thought he gave us. He should have apologized for his mistake but was to prideful to provide an apology .

I DID NOT LIKE THE LECTURE ABOUT DRINKING AND PAIN MEDS. MY SON DIED OF ALCOHOLISM LAST YEAR AT 54 AND I TOOK CARE OF HIM. I KNOW ALL ABOUT DRUGS AND ALCOHOL FROM HIM. I HAVE A GLASS OF WINE ABOUT ONCE A MONTH SO I AM NOT A BIG DRINKER.
