I went in barely able to walk due to severe foot pain after a few months of altered walking from knee problems. X-rays showed only mild arthritis, and I was told to order metatarsal pads and come back in four weeks.
I ordered multiple different pads as recommended and none helped at all. Meanwhile, the pain has worsened, including burning pain and pain on the top of my foot, and I am now missing work because I can barely function.
I felt my concerns were dismissed and that the severity of my symptoms was not taken seriously. I would have appreciated a more thorough evaluation or discussion of whether additional imaging like an MRI might be needed.
