Dr. John Shell, M.D., FAAFP, joined Coffey Health System in 1993 and has served as Chief of Staff since 2003.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in biology at William Jewel College in 1984, he attended medical school at the University of Kansas. He completed his internship and residency in family practice at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
He is an American Academy of Family Physicians fellow and was a finalist for the 2008 Rainbow Award from the University of Kansas School of Medicine for his guidance to medical students.
