I felt comfortable speaking with Dr. Tsakonas. I have a great amount of knowledge about all my health conditions, as I am well educated in the field of Clinical Psychobiology.
I can well understand why some patients may not feel that the Dr’s bedside manner is very warm & fuzzy. However, it simply tells me that he is serious about his work & very focused on ensuring he get all important patient information, so he can make the right treatment decisions & choices, going forward. Therefore, I appreciate his diligent attention to details. Full & complete knowledge of my health conditions and proper treatment are much more important to me than whether we have a warm & fuzzy, jolly conversation! Thanks!

The WHOLE staff gets 5 stars. I always leave this office feeling like I just visited my church family. Everyone is very pleasant and happy. Good medical results always makes my day and happiness is a thousand pluses!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. John S. Tsakonas, M.D., a graduate of the School of Engineering of Columbia University in New York, received his medical education from the State University of New York at Syracuse. He completed his internal medicine and cardiology training at the George Washington University Hospital, Washington, D.C.
He remained at George Washington as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine completing an extra year of invasive and interventional cardiology. Dr. Tsakonas is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA, and is a member of the Attending Clinical Faculty in Cardiac Catheterization and Intervention at the Wadsworth VA Hospital in Los Angeles.
Dr. Tsakonas is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Subspecialty Boards of Cardiovascular Disease and cardiac CT angiography. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Fellow of the Society of Cardiac CT.
