Phenomenal! A few minutes late (about 20) but that’s because he spends a lot of time LISTENING and talking through all options and what was best for my situation. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Great experience all around

In Wilmington, Dr. O’Malley has worked as team physician for the Seattle Mariners AA baseball team (Port City Roosters), the Wilmington Sharks baseball team, the Carolina Stars football team, Topsail High School and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He has also earned a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He has practiced orthopedic surgery since 1993 and joined EmergeOrtho in 1999.
Dr. O’Malley specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, total joint replacement, and general orthopedic surgery. He is fully certified in Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery for total knee replacement, as well as the ROSA Knee System.
He is an avid tennis player, runner and enjoys spending time with his four children.
