Furrowed brow every time I spoke, as though I was speaking a language he didn’t understand. His responses to my questions in my attempt to be a more informed advocate for my minor child felt condescending and dismissive. The overall interaction was uncomfortable and unpleasant.

I had a lot of testing done up to this point. It pointed to my sinuses. I didn’t know this, but he didn’t have any of my records because he is not a part of mychart. I had all of this testing done for my coughing problem, but he got none of it. So I told him about it and the results and he poo poo’ed all of it and made the decision of the cause of my cough even though the tests that he did not see did not point that way. I felt really let down. I told him about all my sinus trouble, but that didn’t matter. He was my last resort and now I don’t know what to do.

Did not listen to my concerns. Was very short and not that friendly.

Extremely rude. Very dismissive. Came across as a bit of a narcissist. Kept talking over myself and my mother the entire appointment. Would not answer our questions nor would he repsond to any of our concerns. Dr Riley literally walked out of the room while we were in the middle of asking him a question. Terrible bedside manner. Started crying before even leaving. Booked my follow-up with Dr Foster. Hoping that will be a better experience

Dr. Riley was cordial and professional. He explained my condition in terms that were understandable. I will see him in the future if I have a condition needing an ENT.

Dr. Riley called me after I asked to talk to a nurse about my son’s upcoming procedure and he was so kind and patient with my son as he was very scared during his procedure. Have definitely been recommending him to friends already!

I found Dr. Riley to be professional and competent. He was willing to work with me on the treatment I chose for my problem. Using My Chart, Dr. Riley quickly identified past issues and offered suggestions for future treatments. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Riley as my ENT physician.

Not very attentive to listening and acknowledging of the things I was speaking with him about. Seemed to be in a rush

I felt very rushed with little time for questions, especially about the likelihood that ear fluid can drain on its own and how long one might wait to pursue tubes. I was urged to sign a consent then and there to get on the surgery schedule, even though I was clearly nervous and wanted to rope my partner into a proposed medical plan for our son. Most importantly, my son was tired and Dr. Riley did nothing to engage him, instead ignoring him and pausing to stare straight ahead while I helped my son before restarting his monologue about side effects. I was very uncomfortable and dissatisfied--there was no room or empathy shown for a tired child and his worried mother after over an hour of waiting, tests, and results. His nurse, however, was lovely.
