I did not see the Dr. I saw the PA or NP. I was not aware my appointment had been changed where I would not see the doctor. I think this is a bad business practice. I am the patient and I should be given the opportunity to make this decision, not the company. I did notify Medicare of this practitioner change for billing purposes. I had concerns I wanted to talk only to the doctor about.

He’s the best! Very pragmatic so I trust him to give me his best bet. Yep, there is a lot of “bet” in medical practice. Dr Prather has excellent “soft skill.” This man smiles! He looks at you. Docs forget soft skills are equally important.

Enjoyed meeting Dr Prather and having his diagnosis of my foot problem. I left with a written order for PT, but it’s 3 days later and I haven’t heard from PT about when/how/where to get started. After dealing with this problem for several months I’m more than ready to start working on the solution. Also, he wanted to see me back (6-8wks, not clear in my memory) but I wasn’t ask to schedule as I was leaving so I’m not sure what that process will be either. Other than these ‘post-visit’ uncertainties I felt I had a profitable discussion with Dr Prather. I also realized afterward that there was no mention of what was seen or not seen in my X-rays. Do I need to schedule a separate appointment for that? Thank you.

After my son sustained an ankle injury during football practice I was devastated Nickole told me to take him to Ortho UC because the injury happened late. I took him and the service we received was amazing. Rashawnda at the front desk was compassionate. Jill in xray was gentle and patient during xray. PA-C Drew exceeded our expectations he told us what was going on and ordered everything that was needed to expedite my sons treatment. James came in with a boot and crutches and explained how to use the boot and he adjusted my sons crutches to fit his height. The following day Miss Randi helped to get my sons CT scan approved and Miss Laura was the sweetest when it came to performing the CT scan. At our next visit we were seen by PA-C Kelsey who explained the scan in full detail and put our worries at ease. PA-C Leslie made my son feel calm and welcomed. Dr Prather discussed all options with us and was very optimistic about the healing process. Thank you all for caring for my son!

Surgery time changed 3x which I had been on NPO from midnight the night before and now surgery is at 11;30. Also I and my ride home has to travel an hour away which is inconvenient to both of us.

Fabulous. If what he suggested - he saved me from a tough surgery. I saw Dr. Prather for a 2nd opinion since my Podiatrist decided that surgery was the only option left.
