Dr. John T. Phelan II is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Boston College and his M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Phelan completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center and pursued a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to joining New York Oncology Hematology, he served as an attending physician at the Lipson Cancer Center at Rochester General Hospital and held an affiliated faculty appointment at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
