Forgot to ask about shots for my hand
Discovered that I did not need surgery after performing a bone moving procedure.
Dr Yanik was okay. To his credit, he did explain my issues. Quickly, yet clearly. But his verbal style was a bit off putting. More like an old-time demonstrator — fast-talking, hawking a kitchen product in an infomercial. Most disconcerting, however, was the overall appearance of the office. In plain terms: it was run down and, quite simply, dirty. I have never been in a doctor’s office that was so poorly maintained. I understand that doorways/walls might become damaged from people in wheelchairs, for example. But there is simply no excuse for dirty floors and surfaces. It was rather shocking. It is for this reason that I will not return.
Dr. Yanik is super. I felt like he cared about me. I wasn’t a dot or file on a computer screen. He explained my problem & the treatment in a way that was easy to understand.
Very nice and assuring, great bedside manners.
