My brother, Robert, had a stroke Feb. 19, 2024 and is unable to speak in sentences. He was diagnosed with A-fib which caused the stroke and also received a pacemaker while at LGMC. Dr. Lawrence was fine, but seemed to talk over our heads instead of speaking in terminology we could understand. My brother is very nervous when he has to see a dr. and relies on whoever accompanies him to his appts. to communicate and ask questions about his condition. He also resides in a nursing home.
