Best doctor ever he listens to the patients

My appt was quick , thorough, and very pleased with the results. Dr. Franklin's bedside maner was great, talked directly with me and went after the problem, very pleased with the results.

Excellent care

Excellent, to be highly recommended surgeon. He has repaired a broken femur and replaced two hip joints for me with very little scarring and no problems. Dr. Franklin has a very pleasant bedside manner. He is personable and kind. My first hip replacement (done by another surgeon) had to be taken out and replaced. Dr. Franklin took care of taking out the joint, banding a broken femur that was initially missed by the other surgeon, and then having to drill deeper into the femur with a longer stem. This could have meant massive scarring and a hard recovery, but it went so smoothly that I had nearly no pain and a very fast recovery and virtually no additional scarring. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate Doc F. I am very grateful to have found such a compassionate orthopedic surgeon.

He is the kind of Doctor who, helps you to be comfortable first. Then he assures you as a confident Doctor who knows what he's talking about. Overall, it was all good.

Not very thorough, I didn’t think

I’ve had 4 total knee replacements on same leg due to recurring infections and am at point of amputation. The last Dr that did my knee replacement recommended Dr Franklin for amputation and I have history with him. On my visit Dr Franklin was extremely rude and I was so dumbfounded by his lack of concern. He basically didn’t want me to speak at all (kept saying I know your history. He said there’s nothing I can do for you and had no one he’d recommend. He actually got up to walk away. I said wait this leg is wrapped poorly because I fell last week and broke foot in 3 places but was out of town so it got wrapped poorly just to get me to surgery. Dr Franklin said he would not rewrap his foot and to let it be that he was not touching his foot. I’ve never complained about my medical issues in the past and consider myself a get-a-long with everyone attitude. Dr must of had a very bad start this morning or something. He left us in a fog as to what to do. I am just shocked.

Dr. Franklin affords my elder sister more care and compassion with his special/authentic skills and care on each and every visit. He just know how to listen and how to effectively respond to the need(s)standing before him and that’s a measurable degree of service. Very personable, easy to talk to and has exceptional bedside manner. Dr. Franklin has a very conservative approach to patient, treatment which I prefer, and is attentive to patient concerns. I would recommend him to family, friends and others without hesitation.

I have multiple doctors as I have had lifelong rheumatoid. Dr. Franklin is one of the most compassionate and thorough. Many orthos are assembly line doctors. Dr. Franklin treats you and your specific needs. He is the best knee and hip doc there is.
