Dr. Dever was great. His team seemed at ease, warm, and professional. He answered my questions before the sedation kicked in. Any conversation I had post-op, I do not recall! Lol. My husband was very vague with the details. I didn't have any side effects after my procedure. I got an information packet and his team has been diligent in being available via the Klara app.

Dr. John Dever, M.D., was born and raised in Washington DC. He was director of gastroenterology at Saltzer Health/Intermountain Health in Idaho until operations ended in March 2024. Dr. Dever was clinical faculty at UC San Diego School of Medicine from 2015 to 2022 and trained medical students, residents, and fellows. Prior to leaving, the Department of Medicine (DOMCAP) voted unanimously for his promotion to Associate Clinical Professor. His research has been published in multiple top peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Dever had the highest adenoma detection rate (67%) among peers, received the highest teacher rating and was an appointed mentor for the UCSD Bridge Program for Scholars.
Dr. Dever was also a member of the patient safety committee. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, mountain biking, and traveling.
