I've seen Dr. John Day three times. He did my total hip replacement successfully 3-1/2-months ago. Whenever I have seen Dr. Day, he has laid all my doubts to rest, as he listens to what I have to say, and responds accordingly without beating-around-the bush, squashing all my doubts. The nurse took me back on on apt. Time but left me in the room with no follow up after a 45 minute wait. I was in pain and very nervous about the apt. Finally my husband opened the door to ask for a status. She just said we were next. It took the Dr. exactly one hour to meet with me. Did not seem very concerned with me nor did he mention my long wait.

Even though he hasn't done any physical repairs his prognosis was more comprehensive than other opinions I have squires.... Maybe it's possibly his positively upbeat approach approach, when you had walked into the room until he had left I felt 100% better about my future. I look forward at the end of physical therapy hopefully him repairing my two broken shoulders and giving me the best repair in prognosis of both of my shoulders they're both broken and it is very painful and having my shoulders functioning again would be amazing.

I was evaluated by 4 other Orthopedic Surgeons prior to my appointment with Dr. Day. None of the other doctors could determine why I was experiencing severe shoulder pain. The other doctors diagnoses varied. On my first visit with Dr. Day he knew exactly what my issue was. He addressed and corrected the problem. I no longer experience the pain.

Very polite and has not changed in 12 years since my total hip replacement. I was very happy with the info he gave me that my issue was with my back and not with my hip. Give me some exercises that I can do at home which will help with my issues. Thank you Dr. Day and see you in 5 years.

I don’t know but I will be seeking another office. For the future. Had a horrifically long wait (3+ hours) and not so much as an apology.

Terrible bedside manner. I realize he probably sees several patients that are smokers, obese, or in some other way do not take care of themselves. That will make health workers cynical sometimes. I am not any of those things and have a terrible knee problem. I feel like he downplays my pain and the seriousness of living with a knee that needs to be replaced because I am only in my 40’s. :(

John has performed (3) pain injections for hip and each has always been quick and relatively painless.

Dr. Day is very understanding when it comes to my disability, Cerebral Palsy. He has tried alternative treatments for my knee arthritis since I am not a candidate for a knee replacement.

Good bedside manner and good follow through to determine that I needed a revision surgery to correct and alleviate constant pain. Revision was successful.

I think he is an excellent surgeon or I would not be going to him he is lacking in “bedside manner”. I had difficulty getting on the examining table and had to ask for help and when was through he bolted without helping me down. I almost fell.

I'm having a problem with the fact that I have to repeat to him my concerns each time of my last visits! The purpose of charts, are to enter this info, review it before you enter the patient's room on their next visit, cont' from there, and move fwd!
