I kept trying to ask clarifying questions and his responses were too fast/ too much information at once for me to understand clearly. Then he seemed to rush out of the appointment.

This man prescribed a medication and told me it was used for migraines originally, but that there has been improvement with some people who suffer from tinnitus. HORRIBLE side effects. Come to find out, the medication is used to treat depression! I am not trying to rewire my brain with this poison.

Dr. John D. Edwards, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a native Texan and moved to Houston after practicing in his hometown of San Antonio.
He attended the University of Texas at Austin as a Dedman Distinguished Scholar and graduated from the Plan II Honors program with a B.A. with Honors in Liberal Arts.
He matriculated from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 2000 and completed his residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC in 2005.
Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Edwards clinical interests in general Otolaryngology include disorders of the sinuses, sinus surgery and balloon sinuplasty, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, balloon dilatation of the Eustachian tubes, sleep apnea, and parotid surgery.
He has a special interest in pediatric Otolaryngology that includes surgery of the adenoids and tonsils, tube placements for ear infections, removal of neck masses and sleep apnea.
Dr. Edwards also specializes in the Inspire Sleep Apnea Device implant procedure to treat obstructive sleep apnea.
Always involved in the community, Dr. Edwards is active in the Texas Medical Association, is the 2020-2021 President of the Texas Association of Otolaryngology and is a Director in the Texas Lyceum.
