The wait was very long, but satisfied with the procedure.

I highly recommend Dr Cockarell. After having so much hip pain after surgery I have been pain free. My appointments are always quick and Dr Cockarell answers any questions I have.

Dr. Crockarell is an extremely good surgeon(did both of my mom’s knee replacements). I am now seeing him due to arthritis in both knees, I thought I had years before I would need to worry about this if ever, but after x-rays due to severe pain in left knee and a torn meniscus, I was told I have bone on bone arthritis plus a torn meniscus😬 It was literally down hill from there!! I’m only 58; WTH!! I had meniscus surgery by another physician understanding that it may not work, but I never had knee problems or pain before this. The meniscus surgery was a waste of time; but I was not shown the X-rays by previous doctor. Anyway I am now getting injections in both knees for bilateral pain and while it does help I know what’s coming next I just want to be back where I was pre injury. I have researched partial knee replacement, which I would only let Dr. Crockarell do. He said if I’m a candidate it would feel the most like my regular knee. I will update if that’s the route I end up going.

We were looking for information on how to deal with a very arthritic knee and what to do to avoid knee surgery on an elderly patient who is still very mobile. He was very informative. Gave us guidelines as to when to use a brace for support and don't use it if it feels okay. We needed something for pain without the bleeding possibilities of Aleve. He prescribed something else. He said rest it when it flairs up. Give the new med about a month to see if it helps. All very much the information we were looking for to muddle through this situation.

I have had knee pain for a year. I had cortizone shots in both knees 12 months ago. This Dr spent 5 minutes with me and referred to a year old xray. No dianogistics done to determine the root cause of the current pain. Prescribed steroids following the most recent cortizone shot last week. I fought back tears over not feeling heard and seeing there would be not an investigation into the root cause of my pain that is keeping me from going to my office/ desk job which i need to support my family. And then there is the sorrow knowing I am going to continuing to suffer in pain.

Dr. Crockarell showed me the X-rays and explained everything to me.

I haven’t been to Campbell clinic for decades. At 72yrs, my left hip was giving me problems… so I selected a doctor that “specialized in hip replacements”. I basically closed my eyes and picked him.🫣 I provided copies of a recent MRI of my hip & a bone density scan. (required test due to ongoing breast cancer treatment) This proved to be overly cautious but definitely more settling for me. With several questions and examination, he eliminated my concerns. My issue was easily resolved and treated. He said he sees many people with similar symptoms. I could not believe the difference one cortisone shot made in my mobility! And I did not feel a thing!!! Dr Crockerell was great, the reason for the 3 stars was because the nurse couldn’t draw a blood sample (she only tried once in my hand) and instead of getting another nurse or maybe trying to get it from another location she told me to go the next day to a lab that isn’t close to my house so they could do it. She was not rude and she was professional in the way she spoke. It was the end of the day and I was the last patient and It just really seemed like she was more interested in going home even if it meant inconveniencing me by making me have to go out to a lab the next day. Giving a blood sample was the only reason I was there. They knew it ahead of time so if she couldn’t draw blood then why have me come there at all? Why not just have me go to the lab?
