Dr. Chiavetta attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergraduate training and Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He was then selected for a joint replacement fellowship in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Chiavetta returned to his hometown to join the physicians at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in August, 2005.

Listens to your concerns and addresses you knee issues and how best to treat.
I appreciate that Dr Chiavetta is very conservative about the need for a total knee replacement and reviews all the possible problems. I have recovered from my total knee replacement and have not had any issues. Thank You

Gave a very asthmatic patient oxyocondone which caused severe asthma attack, trip to Emergency room, Ct scan of lungs and diagnosis of pneumonitis after patient showed list of allergic reactions to many other meds
