Dr Chiavetta is an excellent surgeon and his care before and during surgery is admirable but his after care is lacking. During post op appointments his time is extremely limited. Within minutes of the appointment he is ready to move on when I had questions. He obviously has too many patients. Quality over quantity should be the focus not the opposite. Thank you

Outstanding visit. He reassured me my knees are in good shape.
Dr. John Chiavetta, M.D., attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergraduate training and Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He was then selected for a joint replacement fellowship in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Chiavetta returned to his hometown to join the physicians at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in August, 2005.
