Top flight surgeon. Uniformly respected by the entire staff, which tells you a lot. Blends professional authority with a pleasant bedside manner. Only 3 days post-op, but expectations so far have been over-served.

After a rather rude receptionist our visit with Dr Chiavetta was just great, as always.
Dr. John Chiavetta, M.D., attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergraduate training and Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He was then selected for a joint replacement fellowship in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Chiavetta returned to his hometown to join the physicians at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in August, 2005.
