Dr. Hwang is very friendly and professional! I appreciate him taking the time to answer my questions. Last year I had a laser treatment to patch a tear in my retina from my eye doctor in NYC. then I moved to SoCal and found Dr. Hwang for check up visits 6 months and a year post op. He’s been great!

Dr. John Hwang, M.D., M.B.A. received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY. Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia University, followed by a combined medical and surgical vitreoretinal fellowship at Doheny Eye Institute at the University of Southern California. Dr. Hwang has authored numerous papers in the peer-reviewed ophthalmic literature with expertise in the treatment of age-related macular degeneration and surgical management of proliferative diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and macular hole.
