Dr. Hwang are very nice. He doesn't spend tons of time with me which is good...who wants to linger when you're getting a shot in your eye. I don't want lengthy discussion just get it over with. I'm very pleased with he and his staff.

A+++. Doctor Hwang is the best do tor you could want. SUPER GENTLE. Wry humor. Very calm. Very assuring. Now the best part - if you have macular degeneration...he finds programs for you to enter so that your outrageously expensive treatment costs next to nothing. They do this for you & you simply sign your approval on the form. He's wonderful.

Dr. John Hwang, M.D., M.B.A. received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY. Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia University, followed by a combined medical and surgical vitreoretinal fellowship at Doheny Eye Institute at the University of Southern California. Dr. Hwang has authored numerous papers in the peer-reviewed ophthalmic literature with expertise in the treatment of age-related macular degeneration and surgical management of proliferative diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and macular hole. Dr. Hwang sees patients at the Newport Beach, Laguna Hills, and Santa Ana offices.
