He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, followed by an AOTrauma fellowship in Switzerland.
Dr. Braut specializes in general orthopedics, including fracture care, arthritis treatment, joint replacement, shoulder and rotator cuff surgery, knee injuries, and minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures. He is also certified in MAKO robotic-assisted partial knee and total hip replacement.
Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Braut focuses on conservative treatment options first, while ensuring patients feel informed and confident if surgery is needed. His goal is to relieve pain, restore function, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy.

Another great doctor at Advanced Orthopedic.
I have been receiving injections in both knees under Dr. Brsut’s care for a long time. Dr. Braut is very knowledgeable and always very caring fas to what is best for his patients. Today was no exception. I feel I am in the best care possible with Dr. Braut. His staff is well trained and always very kind and accommodating. All his patientd are in good, caring hands.
Best rotator cuff surgeon ever. I will always refer a friend to him.
