A half of a dollar of skin was taken off my right arm. Right on top of arm below elbow. Can you please explain how I lost my skin, when the surgery was for a left knee replacement?

Scheduled 2 week follow up appointment after left knee replacement surgery. Preregistration process was flawless. Check in with front desk took 1 minute and was directed to X-ray room. X-ray performed right away and after a 2 minute wait, was seen by Dr Berra. He was very professional and encouraged with my recovery process. Scheduled a 6 week return and have me proceed with outpatient therapy and continue to monitor the wound healing area.
