Dr. Joe Sugg, Jr. earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in general ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga and pursued further specialization through a fellowship focused on pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami. Dr. Sugg practices out of our offices in Daphne and West Mobile.

This was our first visit with a new doctor after Dr. Rich retired. Dr. Sugg saw is for an 8:15 appointment. We got in quickly and they moved us along fast since my son was being a little fussy. He was able to look at former Drs. notes in the chart and pick up where he left off for a check-up. Thank you!
