Dr. Jocelyn Lam, M.D., practices pediatric and comprehensive ophthalmology. She enjoys caring for children and adults of all ages with a wide variety of eye conditions. Her special interests include strabismus and cataract surgery.
Dr. Lam was born in Canada and raised in Seattle, WA where she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude with a B.S. in Microbiology and minor in Human Rights. Prior to entering medical school, she joined AmeriCorps and worked with children in after-school programs. Dr. Lam earned her medical degree from the University of Washington and moved to Los Angeles for her transitional internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center before returning to the University of Washington to complete her residency in Ophthalmology. Dr. Lam then went on to complete a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University of Michigan Kellogg Center. Her passion is working with children and families through the crucial time of visual development.
In her free time, Dr. Lam enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, skiing, and spending time with her husband and family in the Pacific Northwest.

This Dr is new to me but she scheduled me in quickly, was very informative, and spent time explaining her course of treatment. I am a retired nurse and I was impressed with her.

Dr. Lam was so great. Immediately calmed my nerves, listened to me, was patient and very kind. I would want to see her again if I needed to.
I’d like to thank and appreciate Dr Lam and entire care team from the courteous receptionist who managed to schedule me on a short notice for an urgent basis to see Dr Lam as my regular eye doctor was not available at Tigard that day. Dr Lam’s Assistant and Technician are both kind, efficient and professional. Dr Lam is very personal with expertise and compassion. She takes time to listen and provide an understandable explanation for my eye’s symptoms. and answered all my questions thoroughly. I’m grateful for the care provided to me. Thank you Dr Lam and her entire staff.
