She is not the best listener. She does not explain the options in details and keep on saying “up to you”. A patient needs information to make a decision. Her answers are short yes and no and didn’t elaborate. Even after asking her to clarify

Dr. Wong is wonderful. She always answered my questions, no matter how silly and listened to all my concerns. I never felt like she was in a rush to leave my appointment which I have experienced with other providers.

Dr. Joanna Wong M.D., graduated from Emory University with a double major in Anthropology and Biology learning how to combine her interests in human behavior and science. She proceeded to graduate from Tufts University School of Medicine with her Medical Degree and Masters in Public Health. This provided a unique opportunity to study diseases both on a microscopic level and on a population level, allowing for a deeper understanding of how the social determinants of health can critically impact treatment and outcomes. She completed her OBGYN residency at University of Colorado. She is passionate about providing quality and evidence-based healthcare to women through shared decision making.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through running, hiking and cycling. If she had unlimited time, she would spend it traveling with her family seeing new places and learning about new cultures.
