Jinal Mehta, DPM, AACFAS, DABPM

Dr. Jinal Mehta, D.P.M., of Premier Foot & Ankle provides empathetic care to children, adults, and seniors with foot and ankle disorders at our Frisco location. She is well-versed in all areas of podiatric care, including but not limited to preventive care, trauma, regenerative medicine, diabetic limb salvage, and elective foot reconstruction. She is particularly passionate about peripheral arterial disease (PAD), diabetic limb salvage, and wound care. She believes in empowering her patients by educating them about their condition and offering both conservative as well as surgical treatment options to help support them through recovery.

Dr. Mehta completed her undergraduate training at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and minored in chemistry. She then completed her medical training at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, where she initiated the Save A Leg, Save A Life Chapter as part of a National wound care organization. During her time in school, Dr. Mehta traveled for a medical mission as part of the Liga International Flying Doctors of Mercy and served those in need in the rural area of Sinaloa, Mexico. Dr. Mehta then went on to an extensive three-year reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgical residency training at the prestigious Long Island Jewish Medical Center, NY & the North Shore (Northwell) University Hospital, Manhasset, NY.

After completing her training, she joined a private practice in Long Island, NY, and continued to teach residents at both hospitals. She also served on the Nassau County Podiatry Association’s young members committee during her time in New York. Since moving to Texas with her family, Dr. Mehta has previously served the Arlington & Mansfield communities, including taking emergency calls at multiple area hospitals. She has also been a guest speaker on “Doc Talk Live” Radio Show, DFW, Texas - "Foot Pain & Wound Care". Dr. Mehta is a Board-certified physician by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine who offers well-rounded care. She is Board qualified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery and is an Associate member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. She is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.

Outside of practicing podiatry, she enjoys cooking, reading, designing, and most importantly, spending time with her husband and baby. She is fluent in Hindi, Gujarati, and English and loves to treat her patients as if they were family.
