Describe some of your job duties:
I am an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy (including Arthroscopy of the hip).
Favorite thing about working at SPO:
I enjoy working at SPO because of the hometown feel of the clinic. I like having the time and freedom to do whatever is best for my patients. The fantastic people — partners, staff, and patients — make the clinic all the more enjoyable to work at as well.
What is your greatest accomplishment at work?
My greatest accomplishment at work is developing and managing with my partners and staff…we truly are a world-class orthopedic clinic delivering hometown care!
Hometown:
I was born in Minneapolis, MN and was raised in DeKalb, IL. My family has been in Wisconsin since before the Civil War.
Hobbies:
In my spare time, I like engaging in outdoor activities, woodworking, model building, and reading.
Family/Pets:
My wife (Sheila) and I have a daughter (Mary Beth), three sons (James, John, and Joe), and grandchildren together.

Really makes the patient feel like a VIP! Takes time to explain in detail the injury and how best to fix it. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind as well!!
