Sitting in the second waiting room watching the bearded technician shuffling the files. We went from next to almost last. We waited almost two hours while people who came in we’ll after us went before us. Staff was not helpful when we complained nor was the Doctor. Poorly run operation.

The staff kept things moving in a professional manner. Dr Lee was friendly and efficient. My only issue is that when I left the office I requested a summary of the visit and found an error in the prescription administration. An eyedrop that I only use in one eye was listed to use in both eyes. Which begs the question, 'What other mistakes that are not so evident to a non-medical person have been made?'

It is obvious Dr. Lee is highly trained, skilled and beyond competent. However, as much as I appreciate the scientific explanation of my situation I would greatly appreciate a less mechanized explanation. Westbury VitreoRetinalConsultant’s is run efficiently albeit like a factory conveyor belt. Everyone does their job quickly and efficiently. However, in my care there was an absence of the human touch, compassion and reassurance. I’m pretty stoic and not the neediest of people but if I was less so I’d probably have left in tears. I felt like I was dealing with ER physicians whose only concern is to keep a patient alive before transferring them elsewhere. That said, I do not fault Dr. Lee as she is brilliant and had other patients with far greater needs to care for than me., I just want the facility to know that a few moments of sincere concern and reassurance goes a very long way to soothe a nervous patient.

This visit was a follow-up from an appointment I had on June 23 with a different doctor. Dr. Lee was friendly but I don't feel I got thorough care, as she only spent a few minutes looking at my eye with a flashlight. I expected her to use the same equipment used in the last visit to check what was going in inside my eye or to take follow-up scans but when I asked about that she said it was not necessary. I feel I didn't get enough of an explanation or enough of a thorough exam.

We were waiting a very long time to be seen and she wasn’t able to answer specific questions.

Our total time there was 4 hours, which was ridiculous. When we finally met with the dr. She spoke to us twice for about 8 minutes each time. The place as like an assembly line. Horrible, I will never go there again, let alone recommend anyone.

Took time to examine my eyes, eye test and evaluate my health issues affecting my eyes. Explained things well. Talked about additional testing and treatments in the future concerning my eye problem.

Although Dr. Lee tried to be nice, she came off as rushed. I felt uncomfortable with her quick examination and her quick brushoff of why I was there. My regular ophthalmologist recommended this office after finding some things that needed further investigation during my annual checkup. I was there for almost 2 hours and Dr. Lee was in the room for less than 5 minutes.
