Dr Affonso did rotator cuff surgery and did an outstanding job!! He is very thorough in explaining what needed to be done and what to expect. I have my other rotator cuff surgery 10 years ago with a DIFFERENT doctor and it didn't go well. Also, Dr. Affonso cares about his patients!! I highly recommend Dr. Jesse Affonso to anyone who needs any type of shoulder surgery!!

Dr. Alfonso reviewed my tests with me and provided me with my choices of treatment. He was clear, friendly, supportive and thorough.

Dr Jesse is an amazing doctor. He asks questions and actually listens to my answers. We arrive at a treatment together ( or so he makes it seem).

I met with Dr. Affonso (he said to call him Jesse!) for the first time earlier this month and liked him immediately. He is warm, welcoming, friendly, outgoing, a good listener, and he showed genuine interest in what I had to say. He made me feel so comfortable right from the start. I came to him for a 2nd opinion and liked him so much that I decided right then and there to have him take over the care of my shoulder rather than stay with the first surgeon I had seen! I strongly recommend him!!

It was my first appointment with Dr. Affonso. He took the time to listen to me. Many doctors do not. He examined the joint and assessed the range of motion, etc. We discussed treatment options and agreed on the appropriate next steps for my issue. I highly recommend him. I wish every physician was as kind and compassionate as Dr. Affonso.
