After consulting other surgeons Dr Axe found the cause of my reverse shoulder failure and implemented the procedures to resolve it. 3 days after the final procedure I experience no pain fir the 1st time inover 2 years. Too fast paced, I felt rushed and it would have been helpful to me to have seen an x ray and to have him show me why a knee replacement was evident to him.

Dr Axe is the best. I had my rotator cuff operated on twice by someone else with no relief. He replaced my shoulder and it’s perfect. I currently have a problem with my knee. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I have total trust in him and his ability to find out what’s wrong and fix it. I would refer anyone to him.

Dr Axe done my rotator cuff surgery on my right arm in 2022, and he has done a good job, so I requested for him again to do my up and coming surgery on my left arm as well.

Awful bedside manner. Had absolutely nothing to say unless I spoke, and seemed very disturbed that I tried to slow him from running out the door so I could ask him a question. He wouldn't stop long enough for me to ask him a second one.

Dr. Axe is a nice change from my mother’s previous orthopedic surgeon who only presented excuses why he couldn’t do anything to relieve her extreme knee pain. Dr. Axe presented options including a long-lasting injection that was new to her and the possibility of knee replacement that her former doctor wouldn’t even consider. Dr. Axe has a great personality and was extremely patient with my elderly mother.

My shoulder has been so painful I thought he was going to X-ray to see how bad the shoulder is damaged. I know he has told me on a previous visit that because of my age then 79. He is not going to do surgery. I’ll wait and see if the injection will work this time like the last one. I do lots of physical work in and out of my house. I know I will be back complaining of pain, worst Rt shoulder and left shoulder has a tear also diagnosed by Dr Sowa. Dr Sowa referred me to Dr Sowa.

I know I come for cortisone shots every 4 months in my shoulders however I would like to be asked how they are working or be given any thoughts on what I should be thinking of doing in the future to ease the pain. He doesn’t ask questions and has very little conversation about the pain you are experiencing

I don’t trust him or his staff they gave me a shot after talking to me for three minutes it made the pain even worse and then after I took the medication they prescribed 30 minutes later I have an allergic reaction and they’re telling me it’s not that it’s the shot from the day before. I’m still in pain I can’t sleep and this guy just wants to be Mr. GQ doctor go to Dr. Hanley at least he’s a professional

I still have pain at the ac joint 7 months later. grade 5 ac separation , that the doctor is telling me I do not have ?? I asked the doc 2 months ago after complaining of clavicle pain twice that if my clavicle was stable and was told yes without him even looking at it. I was told if I can do a knee pushup there is nothing wrong with my clavicle. Now I find out my SC joint is subluxing and has been the entire 7 months. If you choose surgery make your choice fast and realize there are over 70 ways to fix it and there are docs in New York that specialize solely in these surgeries but you have to get it done quickly after injury. doctor axe told me he does more shoulder surgeries than anyone in Delaware that is why I chose him. His technique involves a cadaver hamstring graft looped around the coracoid process and 1 hole in clavicle using also fiber tape and a titanium button. Also a distal clavicle excision if he can’t get it to line up or if there is arthritis. I had 8mm removed 2.5??

Dr. Axe appeared to be preoccupied, rushed and indifferent when I saw him recently. He never even closed the door when I received my shots in the shoulder! When I wasn't pleased with the alternative treatment offered, he then suggested physical therapy, and left, never writing the script, until I called him and reminded him to write the script. He was the perfect example of a doctor devoid of concern and caring. Dr Axe just lost a patient.

Dr Axe is truely an excellent example of all a great surgeon can be. Fell on the shoulder he replaced last year and he made time for me the same day i called.

Spent maybe three minutes. Looked at x-ray which wouldn't had shown tendonitus which primary care diagnosed. Without touching him decided there was nothing he could do and that my husband had to live with it. He referred him to another physician who could provide the cortizone shot. I was under the impression he was bringing this physician in to look at my husband. Instead he gave me a sheet for an arm wrap he could order to sleep in and then I was to schedule another appointment with this other doctor. That means I need to take yet another vacation day, schedule paratransit for my husband and MAYBE this other doctor would be willing to help. If this wasn't the appropriate doctor for my husband to see then why wasn't he schedule with the correct doctor. I feel this was a Medicare scam. Now insurance will be billed for two appointments, with the first being a waste of time. I have limited amount of time off to take care of my husbands appointments. No consideration given.

Dr. Axe may be a good surgeon but seems to be more concerned with malpractice suits after the fact than listening to the patient. If there are any issues, he will deny that it has anything to do with the surgery.

As all office visits with Drs. these days my visit was very brief. I also asked a question about taking the supplement Move Free and the answer I was given was very flip. I had hoped to be told if there were any benefits to the supplement as I want to take care of my joints. The reply to my question gave me absolutely no information about whether or not these supplements are helpful in maintaining join health.
