She’s both very knowledgeable and very concerned about her patients! She takes the time to actually listen to them and I think, read between the lines so to speak when trying to find out what is bothering or causing the issues that the patient is complaining about! She’s thorough!

She earned an undergraduate degree in English at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. She completed her doctorate at the University of Texas Health Science Center. She continued her studies at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she completed an internship and residency in internal medicine. Her fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology were completed at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, in addition to Methodist Hospital in Houston. She also has studied the Spanish language, history, art history, literature and acting.
