Dr. Moss listened to my symptoms carefully and was inquisitive. She didn’t jump to a suspected diagnosis or medication. She instead offered me a choice to test in order to get to the root of the issue, taking the pathway of least invasive tests and proceeding from there. I felt listened to, cared for, and validated.

Dr. Moss is quite clearly a skilled physician and provided factual information about the procedure. My feedback is related to interacting with obese patients. I felt she could not see past my size and made assumptions about my diet without asking me. As a person of size, I have been judged, bullied, looked down upon my whole life. People with obesity often have trauma and my interaction with Dr. Moss was re-traumatizing to me. I felt shut down and unheard. I recommend asking obese patients what they have already tried to lose weight instead of assuming we don't know we are the size we are, or have done nothing. In reality, I have tried every diet out there, done just about every type of exercise out there and cannot lose weight. To have someone not even try to empathize was really hard for me. Also, when patients come out of anesthesia, they are already in a vulnerable state. This would have been a better conversation to have in a follow-up conversation.

All the nurses call her “very thorough” and I trust that was so for this endoscopy. Communication was great. She is new to me but love her this far!

I only met Dr Moss for my colonoscopy but I was pleased with her care. I used Sutab for the prep. Brutal, intense headache, nausea, and more. Today, the day after I still have a bad headache and feel a bit dizzy.
