Very professional and understanding. Prescribed medication and offered additional advice to help reduce future infections that my medical condition is susceptible to.

Doctor Chan was very personable and professional. She walked me through everything that was going on when she was performing an uncomfortable procedure. She answered all of the questions I had, and spoke to me at my level. I was so lucky that she had the ability to squeeze me in, yet the appointment never felt rushed.

I would appreciate if I given an outline of what is going to be done beforehand. She just came in and did a pap smear. I wasn't prepared for it and it felt painful and uncomfortable specially since i am in my first trimester. I came in for a follow up for my recent UTI. I would have asked her to wait on the pap smear until I finish my first trimester. But no one asked me. She just came in and inserted something into my vagina. I would have really appreciated a heads up and an option if I could do it just a few weeks later once I transfer from my fertility clinic. My pap smear wasn't due until next year( my last pap smear was done around mid or fall 2025). So I really didn't understand the urgency to do it today without a heads up. I wasn't provided with a tissue(or notified as where I can find) or anything similar to wipe off the gel she applied for the pap smear.
